Here's a postscript to my previous entry.

In court today, opposing counsel asked the judge to correct an error in the stenographic transcript of the previous hearing. When prompted by the judge to point out the offending error, opposing counsel said that the term "acua per line" should read "aquifer line". He then spelled the term for the benefit of the judge "a-c-q-u-a-p-e-r".

I felt a headache coming on. And it was only 8:30 in the morning.
